This project demonstrates what can be achieved with hard work as the client wanted to build as much as possible themselves. The radical redesign and refurbishment of this 1960s house has produced a stunning five bedroom family home.
Their design brief was for a traditional aesthetic. With this in mind the front of the house featured ornate brickwork detailing, clay tile hanging and a bespoke designed oak porch.
Internally the house extends over three floors with a double height entrance hallway and a stunning feature oak staircase with black metal spindles. The central island breakfast bar forms the heart of the home in the kitchen/dining family space with ample seating, situated below a lantern roof light which allows the light to flood in creating a warm, bright and airy feel.
